Legal Background

Persuant to Art. 13 and 14 of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation of the EU) we are, as a website operator, requested to provide information concerning our treatment of personal data when you visit our website www.rpws.de.

In accordance with Art. 4 No 1 of GDPR, personal data “means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person [...]; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person”.

Data collection on visiting our website

When you visit our pages or website, we do not ourselves collect any kind of data.

Our web provider 1&1 by default offers their customers the analysis tool Webanalytics (German) for statistical observation of your page use according to the following aspects as determined by the provider:

	Numbers of visitors, sessions, page visits
	Reaction of visitors, such as duration of each session, number of page visits, bounce rate
	Origin of each Page
	Location of each visitor
	Browsers and operating systems used

The IP addresses thus obtained by our web provider 1&1 on each web page visit are anonymised by the web provider. We make no use of the offer made by our web provider 1&1 granting permission, at additional cost, to download the thus obtained raw data containing the anonymised IP addresses, for additional home usage thereof.

Data collection on visiting us via e-mail

When you contact us via e-mail, we store your contact data in order to enable us to communicate with you with regard to your wishes.

Contacts with us achieved by electronic means are deleted from our files after a lapse of time measuring, at the latest, six years following the end of the year in which contact was previously made with us by electronic means, unless barred by justifiable interests of the controller. Such an interest might, for example, be due to the establishment of a renewed contact relating to the previous contact.
